The Religious Union for Progressive Judaism (RUPJ) in Belarus was established in 1994. Today the Religious Union comprises 12 communities, in 10 cities, with more than 3 000 congregation members with altogether 7 000 people associated with our movement.
he mission of the Progressive Jewish Movement in Belarus is to support Jewish life and strengthen Progressive Judaism through education and training for youth, leadership development and community building. Based on Jewish values, and the value of Jewish education, our programs and activities promote concepts of tolerance, pluralism and social equality.
RUPJ has the goal to make its contribution to "Tikkun Olam" ("Repairing the World").
